New Job

Hi guys!

OMG I didn't post anything last month! sad :(
This month almost passed so I have to share something.

Hmm… last time I told you about my job. How I felt about it. Generally I didn’t feel happy about it.

Well… I have resigned and now I’m working for another company. I’m still new to this position, this is my second week working here. I’m still having the same title but I feel very different now.
I have a team. I’m not working alone now. I have a lot of questions but I have my boss, my colleague or even my staff to help me to find the answer.
Yes, I’m not only having a proper boss and colleague in the same department, but also two subordinates working under my supervision. I never have this experience before and felt quite nervous about it. But things goes well so far… hopefully I will be a good boss for them. I still feel awkward to be called boss lol. I consider myself a team leader instead of boss.
My responsibility is more clear now. I have objectives that I have to achieve in a year. So basically whenever I feel don’t know what to do I just have to look at my objectives and see what can I do. It’s actually frightening me at first but then I look at those targets one by one and determine what to do, this help me to relieve my tense since I think I know how to achieve those. Now I feel I am really working! I feel very grateful that I make this decision. I’m happy leaving office at 5 PM knowing that today I have done my work.
Well I do mention that I’m still new, not even a month yet. There are still many things that I don’t know. Maybe in the future I will feel stress again.. but hopefully it’s a positive pressure that will develop myself and make me feel more confident/confidence (which one is correct?) in doing my job. But for now I will focus with the problem that I see right now. I already have some tasks waiting to be done. After all we should be more focus in the present time and worry less with the future, shouldn’t we?*

See you on my next post!

*I read that in an article and that really helps me to relax :)
