It’s monday, day where many people hate. But I don’t feel that today. Because last night I had an awesome night!!! I went to see my current favourite singer, TULUS!
Truth is I’m not really a big fan of him, I just know 3 songs of him which are Teman Hidup, Sewindu and Sepatu. But really I do love them all. Easy in the ear, simple but nice lyric, made me want to listen to them again and again.
I know Tulus not quite long ago, maybe since September, from his song Sewindu. Then I went to YouTube and look for his other songs. There, I listened and started to like his songs (and voice). Then again, an annual jazz festival held by my campus invite Tulus! I was so happy to know that so I decided to come so I can hear him live!
The day! 1st Dec 2013. I went with some friends and we came earlier to see some other artists. Tulus scheduled to perform at 22.00 but actually the show didn’t go as planned. We went to the stage 1 hour earlier before the plan so we can come really close to see him. It was really crowded but motivated by WE WANT TO SEE TULUS VERY BAD we struggle through the crowd and yeah we got a good view of the stage!
My leg was actually really hurt for standing for hours, the venue was flooded by people, the show’s late, my shoes was wet because of the rain, and the fact that I have to work the following day. All those things didn’t make me stop from wanting to watch his performance.
“Tulus! Tulus! Tulus! Tulus!” ANNNNNNND TULUS ON THE STAGE!!!! FINALLYY!! I was really excited but actually I don’t know his first song! LOL.
I enjoyed him singing and tried to sing along. After a few songs, finally I knew the next song, it’s Teman Hidup. after that is Sewindu, and as a closing he sang Sepatu. I was so happy that I can sing that 3 songs along with the original singer :D
Tulus’s done singing, but I still can feel the show’s euphoria until now. It was really a great night, thanks for the show Tulus keep making good musics!!!!
